Honor 10 Lite will get EMUI 9.1 on August 2nd in India

Huawei and Honor devices in India are being upgraded to EMUI version 9.1 and Honor 10 Lite is officially confirmed to get this version of EMUI on August 2 in India.

The EMUI 9.1 is built on top of Android 9 (Pie) and installs new user-friendly interface, new UI design, new features including GPU Turbo 3.0, AI Assitant, AI Video Editor, Huawei Share, Wireless Projection and more.

The update will push out in batches starting from August 2nd and if you want to check for the update manually you can do this by following the instruction below:

Go to Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.

If the update does not appear in the settings, we recommend you to request it via HiCare App:

Go to HiCare app > tap on Update > click on the checkbox and hit Apply.
