Honor 10 Lite users receiving October 2020 security update
Honor has kicked off a new software update for Honor 10 Lite users that brings the security patch released in October 2020, which improves the system security and increase the device performance.
Version and Changelog:
- Version: Honor 10 Lite getting EMUI 10 version 10.0.0.241 with an update size of 108MB
- Security: Install the October 2020 security patch
Aside from this, Honor has started Magic UI 4 beta testing for its devices and released the stable Magic UI 4 version of its flagship series. However, Honor 10 Lite is not eligible for EMUI 10.1 and still running on EMUI 10.

UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS FOR HONOR 10 LITE :
Download via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on the System & updates
- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
Download via Support app:
- Open the Support app on your device
- Go to the Service tab
- Click on the update button
- Tap on Check for update option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
REMEMBER:
- This update is currently rolling out in India.
- The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
- The update will not erase any data.
