Honor 10 Lite and Honor 20i on EMUI 10 receiving December security update

Last month, Honor released EMUI 10 for Honor 20i and Honor 10 Lite in India and China, installing the latest user interface and features of Android 10.

And now, the company is sending a new software update for the users of Honor 20i and Honor 10 lite running on EMUI 10 brings the December 2019 security patch.

The December 2019 security update fixes to 3 critical, 24 high and 1 medium level of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) found in the recent build.

Versions:

This new update for Honor 20i receiving the latest EMUI version 10.0.0.170 with the size of 107MB and Honor 10 lite receiving EMUI 10.0.0.171 with 108MB size, rolling out in India.

EMUI 10 for these smartphones is not yet rolled out in markets including Europe and only a few markets are currently opened for the upgrade to EMUI 10.

2. Click on ‘System & updates’
3. Click on ‘Software update’
4. Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
5. Click on ‘Download and install’

Via HiCare:

1. Open HiCare app
2. Click on ‘Services’ tab
3. Click on ‘Update’
4. Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
5. Click on ‘Download and install’
