Hi Nova 11 5G launched with Snapdragon 778G
Today, China Post launched the 5G rebranded version of Huawei Nova 11 as Hi Nova 11 featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G. This is a big selling point as it contains 5G access and the looks of Huawei. Earlier this month, China Post delayed the launch due to unknown reasons and now the phone is finally unveiled.
The Hi Nova 11 comes with a sleek ultra flat edge screen with 1.59mm side bezels, providing a high screen-to-body ratio. The entire device weighs about 168 grams and is 6.88mm thick, which makes it easy to hold and carry around.
The device comes in three colors – Green, Black, and White. As compared to Huawei, the logo branding on the rear is now changed to “Hi Nova” from Huawei.
The phone equips a large 6.7-inch display OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals. It has a 2412 x 1042 pixels resolution, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming as well as P3 wide color gamut. The screen supports HDR photos and AI-enhanced ultra-HD image quality.
On the front side, you will get super high image pixels thanks to the 60MP camera with 4K video recording and 100-degree ultra-wide angle.
The camera bump on the back is quite eye-catching and consists of three openings to house different cameras. These consist of an 8MP ultra-wide macro camera with 112-degree scene coverage and 2cm macro shooting.
The phone has a 50MP ultra vision camera with an RYYB color filter array and QPD full pixel precise focus. The third one is a laser autofocus sensor alongside a 10-channel color temperature sensor.
The XD portrait algorithm helps you to capture natural background blurs that stand out from the subject. The main camera also boosts powerful nighttime photographs.
The Hi Nova 11 5G is launched with a 4500mAh battery, which you can charge with a 66W super fast charger. In capacity, it could refill the battery within 31 minutes for the full charger.
The phone also comes with a better gaming experience using the gaming engine. It reduces touch latency by 5%, battery life by 10%, and helps to keep the temperature low as possible.

Hi Nova 11 5G is launched with memory version of 8GB+256GB priced at 2799 yuan (390 USD, 347 EUR). The phone will officially sale from July 22 onwards.
