Here are the top 10 best-selling foldable phones in H1 2023 in China, 4 in the top 5 belong to Huawei

Today, Counterpoint Research published a report on the top 10 best-selling foldable phones in the Chinese market and it shows that 4 foldables in the top 5 belong to Huawei. The data collected for this research ranges from January to June 2023.

• Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 (5.8%)
• Samsung W23 5G (5.5%)
• vivo X Flip (4.4%)

According to the data, Oppo Find N2 Flip and Find N2 combine a total of 19.6% and all four of the Huawei models total 31.1% sale share.

From 2019 to 2025, the combined annual growth rate will reach 114%. Among these, 2025 will quadruple compared to 2022, reaching 55 million units.

In 2019, Samsung took the lead in launching a folding screen smartphone, creating a new track for folding screens. Chinese brands followed suit quickly and continued to launch new folding products in the domestic market. In 2022, the Chinese market accounts for 26% of the global foldable screen shipments, and China has become the global leader in the development of foldable phones, while Huawei is contributing big in this segment.
