HarmonyOS Version of Weibo has only 9.1MB app size, which is faster and ad free compared to Android version

Huawei officially unveiled HarmonyOS for the smartphone devices on June 2. The debut of the new operating system smartwatch Huawei Watch 3 series, MatePad Pro 2, and the new smart screen products will come pre-installed with it.

As of now, this brand new system software has been reached to a handful of selected Huawei devices, and more enhance and smoother system performance is observed.

In the meantime, Weibo has launched the HarmonyOS version of its mobile app that weighs only 9.1MB, and most interestingly this app version works without advertisements. For your information, the HarmonyOS version of Weibo doesn’t require an additional add-on for the app already acquired over 10,000 installs.

The new version is more comprehensive and cleaner than the existing international version of Weibo. Most of the users who already shifted on HarmonyOS have switched on this version.

Besides, another Weibo user, who had previously try this version appreciated the look and performance, saying that there is no timeline for selecting pictures in the gallery, which is really convenient for the users.

Talking about the new HarmonyOS Weibo 1.0 version, it contains the HarmonyOS logo and allows to stream the primary content covering popular information streams, celebrity V trends, and Weibo hot search lists, and others.

At the launch event, Huawei confirmed the number of HarmonyOS app developers and industry partners has grown sharply in the past year. The Chinese tech giant says that it’ll provide more capabilities to the developers so they can develop faster and efficient apps for the HarmonyOS ecosystem.
