HarmonyOS-powered smart cars shipped over 46000 units in June 2024

HarmonyOS-powered smart cars have now surpassed 46000 units in delivery volume for June 2024. The HarmonyOS Intelligent Driving Unit shared the details on its official Weibo account. It also shows which car has remained in high demand last month.

The new details reveal that HarmonyOS-powered smart cars shipped around 46000 units (46,141 approx) in June. It’s quite more than the figure recorded for May 2024.

AITO M9 remained at the top during the entire month and shipped 17,241 units. The ultimate car also won the best-selling electric vehicle tag for 500,000 yuan or above category.

The New AITO M7 smart car featuring the Huawei ADS 2.0 solution sold over 18,293 units in June. The SUV comes under the mid-range category yet made noteworthy achievements. Next is New AITO M5 which scored 7046 unit shipments last month.

Luxeed S7 reached the 2995 units mark in June 2024. The overall sales of the HarmonyOS Intelligent Driving Unit have covered 194.207 units in the first half of this year. Thus, it’s a new record for Huawei’s Automotive Solution Business.

The Chairman of Huawei Consumer Business – Yu Chengdong cited that the smart car solution business will turn into a profit this year. Huawei has already teamed with several automakers to deliver its high-fy solutions and become more strong in this race.

Even though the Chinese tech giant didn’t build cars, it is doing well in the automobile platform due to its smart car solutions. More SUVs like Avita 07, BAIC, and others are said to come in the second half of this year, equipped with advanced Huawei solutions.
