HarmonyOS-powered EVs sales reached 105000 units as April 2024: Huawei CEO
During the new AITO M5 smart car launch conference, the CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group Yu Chengdong said the sales of HarmonyOS-powered EVs reached 105000 units as of April 2024. This is a huge success for Huawei and its automobile partners.
Among the sales units, a large number of smart car models are being sold by AITO this year. The respective automaker announced the delivery of more than 31700 vehicles last month and appeared as the first among the new brands in the home ground.
The details also reveal that AITO Wenjie M7 has surpassed 24500 units and secured the first position for China’s new power models. Meanwhile, the dynamic M9 electric vehicle crossed 6243 units and spotted the top-most place for high-fy EVs.
Yu Chengdong says that HarmonyOS-powered EVs sales have crossed 105000 units, which ultimately made the company rank first among new players in the Chinese automobile market. Despite Huawei’s denial of building smart cars, it is doing best in the field – thanks to its advanced and robust automobile solutions.
Today, Huawei and AITo unveiled a new smart car product – AITO M5 with upgraded functions and capabilities. Meanwhile, the company has also started delivering the Luxeed S7 on a large scale. Thus, we could expect more good news on this topic in the time ahead.
