HarmonyOS NEXT third phase developer beta recruitment coming soon

Huawei has announced that HarmonyOS NEXT third phase developer beta is coming soon! The tech giant has recently updated its HarmonyOS developer site with the software development details. It also shared the adaptation progress of the new OS.

Inputs reveal that the review process of HarmonyOS NEXT second phase developer beta is completed. Developers and pioneer users who have received an SMS or email for passing the review process will soon obtain the latest software testing version.

Users can identify the message or email with the “approved review” title. If you haven’t received any such alert then wait patiently and apply in the next beta program.

Apart from the adaptation progress, Huawei said to soon begin the third phase of HarmonyOS NEXT developer beta recruitment. The company didn’t reveal the time at present. However, we expect to see the beta recruitment in the mid-August.

“In order to meet the upgrade demands of more users, we will start recruiting HarmonyOS NEXT beta version developers and pioneer users (third phase) in the near future! So, stay tuned!” – wrote Huawei.

Huawei has not disclosed the eligible models to participate in the third phase beta program. But the official upgrade plan counts the following devices for the beta stage:

1. Huawei Mate 60 Series
2. Huawei Mate X5 Series
3. Huawei Pura 70 Series
4. Huawei Pocket 2 Series
5. Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 Series
6. Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 tablets
7. Huawei MatePad Pro 11-inch 2024

The tech giant is conducting a new product launch conference in the first week of August. Probably, it might share details on this matter during the event. Hereafter, HarmonyOS NEXT beta 3 for developers may launch in the second/third week of the next month.
