HarmonyOS NEXT third developer beta recruitment extends to August 14
Huawei has extended the timeline for the HarmonyOS NEXT developer beta third phase till August 14. It seems the company is giving more time to its developers and pioneer users to participate in the software testing pool and enjoy new changes.
The Chinese tech giant opened the HarmonyOS NEXT third developer beta program on July 31st. As per the official details, users were allowed to enroll in this testing activity till August 7, 2024, at 15:00. But the OEM has now adjusted this timing.
As of now, developers and pioneer users can participate in HarmonyOS NEXT third developer beta recruitment till August 14. The company has also extended the application review time till August 23, 2024, for better convenience of participants.
Huawei hasn’t revealed any specific reason for this time extension. One of the causes seems less recruitment in the given period. The company has opened the HarmonyOS NEXT third developer beta program for up to 30000 users on each model.
To fill these seats, the Chinese phone maker might have extended the beta program for a few more days. It also gives a chance to those who have missed the opportunity to participate in the previous HarmonyOS NEXT beta program.

Further enhancements include a new auto-error correction tool in the Celia Keyboard. It checks the grammatical or spelling mistakes in the text and corrects them automatically. The overall firmware delivers a more efficient experience than before.
