HarmonyOS NEXT gathered attention of gamers at ChinaJoy 2024 event
Huawei impressed a wide range of gamers during the ChinaJoy 2024 event by unveiling HarmonyOS NEXT-based games. The Chinese tech giant has exhibited more than 40 gaming applications based on the latest HarmonyOS software version.
ChinaJoy 2024, also known as the 21st International Digital Interaction Entertainment Fair is the biggest Chinese exhibition. It’s a global premier of gaming and digital entertainment. Thousands of consumers visit the expo to try new inventions.
This time, Huawei also participated in the ChinaJoy 2024 event to promote HarmonyOS NEXT among gamers. The tech giant showcased various HarmonyOS native games and their features that can easily upgrade the entire gaming experience.
Some of the famous video games include Naraka: Bladepoint Mobile (NetEase), Reverse: 1999 (Bluepoch), and Sky: Children of the Light by Thatgamecompany.
HarmonyOS native games impressively stole the show at the ChinaJoy 2024 event. There were long queues of people to experience HarmonyOS NEXT-based gaming apps. Around four sections of the related games were filled at the HarmonyOS booth.

Huawei further organized amazing activities and gifts for users. Consumers also got the chance to play the new HarmonyOS games on the latest flagship phones.
“It was exciting to see one of my favorite games Narake: Bladepoint and be able to run it on the new software system.” – a 25-year-old netizen.
Another netizen named Qiao Ni said – “This was my first year here, and I got here early… to get the very first batch of gifts including Valorant.”

After seeing some dynamic games, many attendees said they would love to see more foreign games running on HarmonyOS NEXT in the time ahead. The event noticed a gradual increase in consumers’ interest in HarmonyOS NEXT native apps.
Huawei is not leaving any chance to hype its real self-developed software system. HarmonyOS NEXT is independent of Android components and aims to make the user experience smoother, faster, as well as safer. Perhaps we may find more games and interesting HarmonyOS NEXT capabilities at the Mate 70 flagship launch.
