HarmonyOS NEXT developer preview is faster and smoother: Tipster
Huawei will unveil the HarmonyOS NEXT developer preview on January 18 and it looks like the upcoming software version bears faster and smoother capabilities. Some new details reveal that HarmonyOS NEXT is perfect to navigate.
According to the Weibo tipster @FixedFocus, the new HarmonyOS NEXT developer preview has faster operating functions. The post reads that it is convenient to manage the latest software as it runs fluently.
Further, the tipster said that the HarmonyOS NEXT developer preview offers smoother animations. While switching between different apps, the animation gets started in seconds which is quite impressive. The overall response feedback is immediate and doesn’t have unwanted lagging.
Being a developer preview build, some issues persist in the software such as frame drops which interrupt the stability aspects. However, we may expect more improvements with the official HarmonyOS NEXT version.
On the other hand, applications like Graphite Docs, Himalaya, and 360 Browser have already completed the adaptation of the HarmonyOS NEXT developer preview version. The list will add more apps in the time ahead.
Meanwhile, some other reports suggest that the new HarmonyOS system will be entirely independent of Android. This means app developers need to convert their applications into HAP format to adapt to the HarmonyOS native app.
Eventually, HarmonyOS NEXT only includes Harmony kernel and system applications for a reliable experience. At the same time, the new software is easy to adapt to different devices and can work efficiently with foldable, tablets, smartphones, and other smart products.
We still have a day left to see the unveiling of the HarmonyOS NEXT developer preview. Perhaps, the Chinese tech giant will elaborate on the ultimate features and its powerful functionalities tomorrow. By that time, developers can participate in the developer beta recruitment to explore the software in advance.
