HarmonyOS NEXT code scan feature supports auto-zoom up to 18 meters

HarmonyOS NEXT can feed your device with a series of useful features and one of these is code scan auto-zoom capability. No matter how far your hands are from the QR code, you can easily scan it and complete the task without any interruption.

The company introduced the new HarmonyOS NEXT feature on its official Weibo page. The 28-second clip shows how a Mate device user easily scanned a “far away” code without getting out of the car or moving close to the QR code picture.

As per the caption, Huawei has resolved the long-distance scanning problem with its new OS. Just pull down the Quick Settings panel to access the code-scanning feature.

When the scanning interface appears on the phone’s screen, double-click the QR code to zoom in and the device will detect the image, scanning it efficiently.
