HarmonyOS NEXT closed beta program is live for Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 2025

Huawei has started the HarmonyOS NEXT closed beta program for MatePad Pro 13.2 2025 tablets. The company is calling out users to participate in the latest software testing and explore a variety of new features ahead of the stable version rollout.

MatePad Pro 13.2 2025 comes with HarmonyOS 4.3 out of the box. It contains various AI features that make multitasking easier and fun for device users. Now Huawei opened the doors of HarmonyOS NEXT for the MatePad Pro 13.2 2025 tablet.

The company hasn’t specified the number of seats open in this beta program at present. Although the MatePad Pro 13.2 2025 users can still join this testing pool.

Before proceeding, make sure that the tablet is running on the HarmonyOS 4.3.0.128 version. You can check the baseline version by visiting the Settings app. Now select the System & Updates section and go to the Software Update option.

How to sign up?

On your new MatePad Pro 13.2 2025 tablet, open the My Huawei App. Now go to the Home section and select the Upgrade and Try option (Multi-device trial). Fill in the details in the form and follow the on-screen steps. Once done, hit the submit button.

The company could take a few days to review the submitted applications. It will likely push the new closed beta build within a week or two. Till then, take a complete backup of your device if you have already set it up and ensure 10GB of storage space.

After the beta installation, a few applications might work abnormally, or you may discover some other issues like overheating, app freezing, battery drain, and more.
