HarmonyOS is now running 1 billion devices

Huawei has created a major milestone for the HarmonyOS operating system and announced that it’s now running more than 1 billion devices overall.

Yu Chengdong, Executive Director, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Consumer Business Group, and Chairman of Automotive Business Solution made this announcement during the HarmonyOS NEXT 5 launch event.

This figure includes sales from wearables, smartphones, HarmonyOS smart car cockpit, smart TVs, earphones, tablets, smart home devices, and smart home control devices.

Yu Chengdong also revealed that Huawei ranked first in the global smart wearable devices shipment for the first half of 2024. He also confirmed that the global users for the Huawei Health app crossed more than 100 million users.
