HarmonyOS 4.0 is coming
Huawei HDC 2023 dates are now official and this mega show of developers will introduce HarmonyOS 4.0 operating system for smartphones and a bunch of other platforms.
Yes, the excitement is real and we’re expecting some big features with this new software version specially for smartphones. Currently, Huawei has not revealed the specifics for the consumers. However, there are some details that you should know.
With HarmonyOS 3.1, Huawei brought in fluidity and improved the user interface. For example, the animations are now smoother than before. You can realize these changes once you start interacting with the UI.
That’s not it, Huawei also enhances personalization features for smartphone users. Furthermore, the camera app received new features such as a camera zoom ring and a quick menu right below the shutter button.
Before that, HarmonyOS 3.0 made an impact among phone users with a service widgets combination and grouping. HMOS 3 also made a remarkable change in large folder management, which lead us to smart folders.
These are resizable folders with anchors on all four sides. All you need to do is to press and hold the folder and adjust it in different layouts.

But HarmonyOS 4.0 is the next direction and we’re moving towards this new software at full speed. Past input reveals that HarmonyOS 4.0 is coming with new AI-powered functions. These will contribute to a better user experience.
It’s also suggested that Huawei may unveil a new look for phone users. Aside from smartphones, the new HarmonyOS will improve the cross-device connection between different platforms including tablets, smartwatches, smart TVs, and others.
