HarmonyOS 3.1 beta begins for Huawei devices
Within a month of launch, HarmonyOS 3.1 started looking for Huawei smartphone owners. This search is now beginning the first stage of beta activity. This recruitment also marks the upgrade process for old smartphones.
According to the information, Huawei has announced new HarmonyOS features testing closed beta testing. As usual, Initial testing slots are opened for flagship and recently released smartphones.
These first benchers are coming from the Huawei Mate 50 series and Nova 10 series. To be mentioned, Huawei has not clearly mentioned whether this recruitment is related to HarmonyOS 3.1 but we don’t have to doubt the version for the time being.
Why? Because Huawei conducts such a new feature beta only for upcoming software or major version. Therefore, the scenario matches the past upgrade traditions.
Coming to the conclusion, this recruitment is certainly for version 3.1. The details reveal that new recruitment is announced for Huawei Mate 50 Pro, Mate 50 RS Porsche Design, Mate 50, Mate 50E, Nova 10, and Nova 10 Pro models.
These phones are required to fetch a base HarmonyOS 3 software version 3.0.0.202/210 to participate in the closed beta campaign.
Early Beta:
You should know that closed beta enables users to access upcoming features ahead of the public release. However, there could be some bugs and software experience changes for the HarmonyOS 3 that may appear after the upgrade.
All eligible smartphone users can signup for the early adopter version via the My Huawei app. However, there are limited testing slots for each model mentioned above.
Specifically, there are 1000 for the log and 1000 for the log version for each phone. The beta registration opened on April 4 and selected testers will get a beta build via the OTA update method.
You should keep a few things in mind before signing up for this latest closed beta program. The phone must have over 8GB of internal storage to keep the downloaded OTA package.
Verify that your phone is not rooted otherwise, you won’t receive the beta push. Furthermore, the beta activity registration requires you to participate get the base version first.
