HarmonyOS 2 vs ColorOS 11: Boot speed comparison [Video]

Oppo’s Android-based software system – ColorOS is scheduled to merge with its subsidiary’s (OnePlus) smartphone software – OxygenOS. As the future devices will run on ColorOS.

In the meantime, we’re here to compare Huawei‘s HarmonyOS 2 operating system and the ColorOS 11 and we’ll first be comparing the boot time in mobile software.

So, what we’ve found in HarmonyOS 2 vs ColorOS 11 boot speed comparison test?

HarmonyOS 2 comes with lots of optimizations that easily load the home screen after the boot process and faster than Oppo’s ColorOS 11.

In practice, HarmonyOS 2 powered device reboots faster at 31 seconds. On the other hand, the Oppo device with ColorOS 11 took 44 seconds, similar to what we’ve found on MIUI 12.5. The result goes in the favor of HarmonyOS 2.
