Google rolling out ‘Circle to Search’ feature for several Android phones
With the onset of this year, Google offered its top-end Pixel models with the Circle to Search feature and it has now started making its way to more Android phones. The interesting tool will soon be available to more Pixel, Samsung, and other devices.
Before we learn about the feature expansion details, let’s understand what the new feature is about!
Circle to Search:
Simple like its name, the Circle to Search feature enables users to search any object or content on their device by just drawing a circle over it. The amazing tool is powered by Google’s self-developed Gemini AI model and ensures quick outcomes in real-time.
Making a circle on your phone’s screen will lead you to a small pop-up area at the bottom, showing the Google Search results. The simple tool works for both pictures and text and lets you even search those objects that you are completely unaware of.
The feature initially showed up with the Samsung Galaxy S24 series and Pixel 8 series. It gradually become available in Pixel 7 series, starting this month. Now Google is expanding the Circle to Search tool to more Android phones and old Pixels.
