Google releases June 2022 update and Android 12L QPR3
Google has put out the June 2022 security update and Android 12L QPR3 on the official Android security bulletin platform. And as per the timeline, the company has started pushing the latest updates to the supported Pixel devices.
Apart from the June 2022 update and Android 12L QPR3, Google has also kicked off some bonus elements for the handsets. For instance, Pixel Feature Drop brings a new video editing tool and several revamped functions.
June 2022 security update
The latest security update target several vulnerabilities ranging from moderate to critical level. Over and above, the security update also optimizes the internal framework that was dealing with severe complications so far.
On the flip side, we also find some additions to the core system that eventually smoothens the functionality of the device. Further, these fixes and improvements are most commonly related to the system. For instance, Apps, Audio functions, Battery and Power, Biometrics, BlueTooth, Camera, Display and Graphics, Sensors, Telephony, Wi-Fi, and User Interface. Thus, the new update enhances the user experience.
Android 12L QPR3
On the flip side, Google has also bumped the Android 12L QPR3 for Pixel smartphones. This stable Quarterly Platform Release 3 brings the Pixel Feature Drop tool, which brings multiple add-ons in its mini bag. One such feature is the Pocket Operator which serves as a video editing app.
The other one is named At a Glance which is an alert function for smartphones. Thirdly, it brings the redesigned real tone filters for the Google Photos, and the list goes on.

Currently, the new rollout with build number SQ3A.220605.009(.A1/B1) is only accessible to the below-given devices:
- Pixel 4 (XL)
- Pixel 4a

- Pixel 5

- Pixel 6
- Pixel 6 Pro
Users will either receive the global version or a specific regional version according to the carrier network.
