A new finding from Pradeo shows that there are two spyware hiding on the Google Play Store. These could affect over 1.5 million Android users. The spyware are coming from two separate apps but is made by the same developers.
The researcher also shared the names of these apps including:
- File Recovery and Data Recovery – com.spot.music.filedate – 1M+ Installs
- File Manager – com.file.box.master.gkd – 500K+ Installs
These apps could interact with your phone without permission and able to send the data to the developer server, which is in China.
