It seems that Google is working to do some major changes in the Android app market. Hence we are in the first week of August, and the company releases the second update in the month for the Google Play Store app, which can be known through 31.7.16.

It was just a recent collins when Google removed the app permission section from the Store and brings it back after users’ criticism. Nothing, but this move shows the firm activities to make changes in the Google Play Store.

Notably, the recent update doesn’t add or remove anything from the Android app store but aims to bring basic improvements and fixes to the application to provide a better user experience.

Check if your Google Play Store is running over the 31.5.17 version, then this update is all yours. Just Open the Google Play Store app settings from the profile icon>> then About>>From here you can check the pending update and download and install it.

Alongside, you can grab the Google Play Store 31.7.16 version, directly through a third-party source: APKMirror.

Google Play Store does not display the app version number:

The Google Play Store now no elongate displays the app version under the application information section. According to 9to5 Google, the app version tag is no longer available there.

Although, the above-mentioned activity was only performed with the mobile phone application. Meanwhile, the Android TV and WearOS apps still show the app version info.

But on verifying this misplacement of app info in our smartphone, then we found nothing changed in the app version info. It is still there in the Google Play Store.

Our respected source, further mentioned that this may be kind of an issue not a permanent change in the Android app junction. And may this recent 31.7.16 version update aims to fix this issue.
