Global Tablet shipments down in Q2 2021, expected to grow 30% in Q3: Report

The global tablet shipment sequentially dropped by 3.5% and yearly 12.5% with 34.69 million shipments in the second quarter this year, says a report. Like the other market, this is also crashed in the unfavorable condition of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Global Tablet Market Status:

The top four places in the global market are reserved by Apple, Samsung Electronics, Amazon, and Lenovo respectively. Furthermore, the research figures are expecting to see the changes in the order of top venders in the next quarter.

Only the iPad series of Apple and other tablets with MediaTek branded chipset maintained the steady growth. However, the entire market is effect by the IC shortage. Thanks to this fact, Apple’s iPads with M1 SoC are able to climb the higher place in comparison with previous.
