To boost the efficiency of the Pura 70 Ultra model, Huawei is now serving it with its first EMUI 14.2 update in the global market. The firmware is stapled with the 14.2.0.161 version and brings a massive software package worth 1.35 Gigabytes in size.

EMUI 14.2 update has enriched the camera functioning of the device. It has polished certain shooting effects and lens experience for third-party applications.

Huawei has also incorporated the May 2024 security patch to wipe out any hidden bugs or system glitches that might have affected the system’s efficiency. You can check the complete changes and improvements in the changelog given below.

Camera:

  • Enhances the camera user experience in certain situations, by optimizing portrait, landscape, night, and long-focus shooting effects.
  • Optimizes the camera recording experience in certain scenarios, and enhances the camera stability.
  • Improves the shooting quality when using the camera in some third-party apps.

System:

  • Improves the system’s stability.

Security:

  • Integrates security patches released in May 2024 for improved system security.

In terms of availability, the update is currently approaching users residing in Latin America and the Middle East. Although it will reach more regions in the upcoming days. Till then you can try out installing the latest updates via the Settings app.

Tap on System and Updates> then tap on Software updates. Now the phone will reach out to the server to get a firmware build for you. However, the entire process may take some time so don’t forget to keep a cup of coffee beside you.
