February 2022 HarmonyOS update released for Honor Play 4T Pro
Honor Play 4T Pro device is installing the latest February 2022 security update that fixes more than 40 CVEs and privacy-related issues to increase system security. This update is available for the Play 4T Pro running on the HarmonyOS software system.
For your information, Honor Play 4T Pro comes pre-packed with Magic UI 2.1 custom interface based on Android 9.0. Over time, it grabbed Magic UI 3.1 followed by HarmonyOS 2.0 software version.
At the moment, the performance of the Play 4T Pro smartphone is satisfying for the corresponding device owners. But, it can be enhanced by updating over the latest HarmonyOS firmware version.
The February 2022 update for Honor Play 4T Pro comes with HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.213 updated from 2.0.0.211. However, this update gradually reaching users and may take one-two weeks to cover all users.
Currently, we don’t have inputs related to the new update package size. But, it is expected to be regular-sized. So, at least maintain 500MB of free space on your device to prevent update failure.
Want to know, How to update?
Open the phone’s settings, then tap on the system & updates and software updates. Now, tap on check for updates and wait until the phone is fetching the update. Once an update appeared on the screen, download and install it.
Aside from this, open the My Huawei app and go to the update section. Then, follow the steps that appear on the screen to download and install the update.
After updating the device from anyone above way. The reboots automatically once the update process gets done. Don’t try to reboot the phone on your own.
