Fakebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Threads goes down for thousands of users

It’s another meltdown for Meta platforms – Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Threads meltdown for thousands of users across the globe.

According to the website Downdetector.com, the outage happened for over an hour. During this time, over 14,000 users reported issues with accessing Instagram, while around 7,000 and 2,700 users faced issues with Facebook and WhatsApp, respectively. Meanwhile, the new Threads app was down for 470 users.

Downdetector tracks outages by collating status reports from several sources including user-submitted errors on its platform. The outage could have affected a larger number of users.

All of these platforms have returned online after the issue went wide among users. Meanwhile, Meta has not published any statement on this matter.
