Exclusive: Check Huawei Watch GT 5 variants before today’s launch

It’s September 19 and Huawei is set to launch amazing smartwatches for its global consumers. Before today’s launch, we have got our hands on the Huawei Watch GT 5 variants. It’s time to explore the new wearables ahead of its official unveiling.

An X tipster has recently shared multiple renders of the Huawei Watch GT 5 and 5 Pro variants. These images clearly reveal the design, color, straps, and key highlights of the flagship smartwatch series. Let’s check these variants one by one in detail.

Watch GT 5: 46mm

Starting with the standard version, the Watch GT 5 appears in four iconic color variants. Two of these are 46mm in size while the others are 41mm. The 46mm variants have a stainless steel body with an octagonal face, tri-color dial, and thick bezel.

It is available in two colors: Blue and Black. The former color has a woven or stitched pattern on the strap. Whereas, the latter is a bit wider and gives a sporty look. The back panel of both watch variants shows a transparent sensor glass which implies the presence of the advanced TruSense health system.

The charging point probably lies below the back panel. Looking at the watch’s face, it seems Huawei will introduce various new themes for its premium wearables.

Watch GT 5: 41mm

Huawei Watch GT 5 41mm shows a glowy outlook. It has a ceramic body as well as a thin bezel all around the dial. The casing highlights a 3D angular design and shows in two colors: silver and gold. For straps, it has blue, brown-white, white, and gold colors.

The blue and white straps are likely made up of silicon. The brown-white variants give a classic feel with stitched texture throughout. Whereas, the gold option has a metal strap. Note that all variants have a stylish crown and a feature button on the right side. Also, the buckle shows a shiny Huawei branding.

Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro: 46mm

Just like the standard variant, the device is divided into two sizes: 46mm and 42mm. The first one holds a titanium body while the second size has a sapphire glass. This is a major difference between the standard and Pro Watch GT 5 models.

The 46mm variant is available in black and silver color. The overall look is the same as the standard model. Though the change is the titanium body, especially in the silver option. It has a metal strap and angular bezel with a dual-tone dial – red and blue. Also, the metallic bezel has printed scales.

Watch GT 5 Pro: 42mm

This variant has sapphire glass with scratch resistance and durability properties. It is similar to the 41mm standard version. The difference is the metal strap which has golden plates and gives a bracelet-like feel on the hands. The other color shows a plain white silicone strap with a golden buckle and crown.
