Even after a month, Huawei Mate 60 series is hard to catch
After a month of launch, the Huawei Mate 60 series is still hard to catch for buyers as the stock vanishes right after it appeared on the official site.
According to the information, Huawei is continuously listing the new Mate 60 series stock online and offline. But the situation remains unchanged among all four models – Huawei Mate 60, Mate 60 Pro, Mate 60 Pro+, and Ultimate Design.
People who want to buy a unit need to wait around the clock to book on time before it vaporizes within a few seconds. Customers are also searching for alternative sources to fetch one model but there’s no luck in that either.
Industry analyst believes that the shortage of units reflects production issues and a slow supply chain. Time is playing a massive role in assembling new models to serve them to customers.
The reason behind the slow supply chain is based on the current market demand, which exceeded Huawei’s own expectations with the Mate 60 series. Suppliers are caught off guard by the market’s overwhelming orders that Huawei has placed after the initial month.
It’s reported that Huawei employees are working overtime to ensure that the supply chain meets the ongoing demand.
During last month’s flagship product launch, Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei’s consumer business group also emphasized that the company is working overtime and urgently manufacturing products as many as it could.
Learning from the current issues, Huawei is seemingly preparing for the upcoming online sales event in China. Therefore, it may be hard to catch a Huawei Mate 60 series unit for now but we can expect Huawei to fix these supply chain difficulties by the next month.
