EMUI 14 beta update making its way to Huawei P50 Pro
EMUI 14 beta update continues its journey and now reaches Huawei P50 Pro testers. The firmware enables registered smartphone users to explore features and check out the significant improvements of the newest EMUI software ahead of its stable rollout.
Devices like Mate X3, P60 Pro, and Mate 50 Pro have already tasted the beta flavor of the EMUI 14. Now it’s the turn for the P50 Pro users to inspect the software version.
Huawei P50 Pro is receiving the EMUI 14 beta update with the 14.0.0.136 version. Users need to compromise a storage space of 6.42 Gigabytes to download the new firmware. We also suggest using a standard WiFi connection to install the upgrade.
Being a beta version, the update might affect your smartphone’s data and erase it. Hence it is better to opt for a backup beforehand to avoid any kind of data loss.
The EMUI 14 beta changelog has interesting UI and system stability features that breathe new life into your device. Users will find eye-catching themes, the ability to check the real-time status of apps, SuperHub, and smoother app animations.
EMUI 14 Beta Changelog:
- Magazine Themes: With the Art Star theme, you can add a photo to match the existing background and customize the clock on the lock screen using six font options.
- Interactive Themes: Emoji theme as well as new weather background that changes automatically, based on the current weather and phone’s angle to offer interactive effects.
- Live View: Let you know the real-time status of apps by showing alerts on the notifications bar. Tap the small window to grab more details.
- SuperHub: Simply drag and drop your files to transfer them from one app to another, or between devices.
- Ark Engine: Provides a more enjoyable user experience by making app animations smoother and more stable.
In terms of availability, Huawei is rolling out the EMUI 14 beta update for P50 Pro in Europe. But it won’t take much time to expand the firmware in more regions.
The company is currently serving the latest EMUI 14 beta treatment to its top-end flagship models. Although we can expect that Huawei will bring this software version to more compatible devices in the time ahead.
