EMUI 14.2 SuperHub 2.0: Check what’s new in this feature

Huawei has added an upgraded sharing feature to EMUI 14.2 called SuperHub 2.0. The feature debuted with EMUI 13 in the global market. Now the company enhanced this feature to more extent with the new 14.2 software upgrade version.

Mate 50 series was the first device to introduce the SuperHub feature with EMUI 13. It acts as an advanced clipboard on your device and can easily drag content from one app to other. And good news is, this ability doesn’t remain confined to text.

EMUI 14.2 SuperHub 2.0 feature is capable of storing texts, images, or any other files temporarily in the sidebar. When required, users can drag the content to access or transfer it to another application in their Huawei handset (phone/tablet).

It not only saves you time but also helps in managing your files and other content between applications. With EMUI 14.2, the tech giant has made SuperHub even more efficient, and smoother, making the ordinary drag-and-drop gesture a wonder.

Users can easily drag the information or files to an editing screen (NotePad) rather than transferring them from one app to another. All they need is one TAP!

How to use the EMUI 14.2 SuperHub 2.0 feature?

To access the SuperHub feature, open the Settings app on your phone. Scroll down and select the Accessibility Features section. Now tap on the SuperHub tool.

You will find two options to enable the feature:

  • Show on drag: Automatically show the window when you drag text, images, or files.
  • Clipboard: When enabled, the most recent 20 items of text copied to the clipboard can be viewed in SuperHub.

Users can select text, images, or other files within an application. Hold the file or image till it starts floating. The SuperHub floating window will appear on the upper right corner of the screen. Now drag the selected item to the respective window.

This will store the content temporarily on the SuperHub. Users can easily access these files when needed. For instance, you are working on a different screen and require an image. Just touch and hold the SuperHub window to drag out the content.

Users can either pull out all the items together or expand the SuperHub feature to select one or more items. In case the floating window is hidden at the edge of the screen, simply swipe inward to bring it out.

SuperHub feature is available on EMUI 13 and above versions. But for news and better improvements, we suggest upgrading your eligible Huawei phone to the EMUI 14.2 software version.
