EMUI 14.2 Media Controller makes audio playback access easier
EMUI 14.2 not only brings new features but also improves the existing tools in Huawei smartphones. And today we’re up with one such very effective functionality – EMUI 14.2 Media Controller that eases the audio playback scenarios for users.
What is a Media Controller?
It is generally a feature located in the Control Center of a device and eases the access to audio playback. Users can manage several music-related operations from the Control Center, without entering or opening the main music application.
Huawei has given a new makeover to the Media Controller with the EMUI 14.2 upgrade. Even though the appearance is similar to the 13th software version, it now brings better controls, more fluency, and quick task completion abilities on board.
The new Media Controller enables users to easily adjust the audio or music progress. They can quickly switch between applications or handle the audio playback. All it requires is a Huawei phone running on the EMUI 14 or later software builds.
How to try out the EMUI 14.2 Media Controller?
EMUI 14.2 makes it easier to access audio playback, shuffle between your favorite songs, or play/pause them when required. To do so, you have to access Media Controller.
Just swipe down from the upper right corner of the screen. You will see the Control Panel with several sections. Go to the Media Controller at the top-left side and tap on the blank area in it. Doing so will enlarge the Media Controller to perform tasks.
For instance, users can play/pause music, read lyrics, like or add the song to their “favorites” list, and increase or decrease the volume as per their preference.
The Media Controller further shows the current and recently used music applications. Hence, users can tap on the small app icon given at the left corner of the music preview to switch between different apps and tune on saved or online songs.
Bonus: Users can share audio and video playback when their device is linked to another device and can manage the controls via the Media Controller. Although to access this feature, you must have EMI 14.2 on your handset.
