EMUI 14.2 Immersive Weather Theme: Here’s what is new in this feature

EMUI 14.2 has various interesting themes to beautify Huawei phones’ home screens. Users can pick sport-playing characters or funny emojis to add new glory to the screen. Today we are up with one such EMUI 14.2 theme called “Immersive Weather”.

Huawei has integrated two interesting themes into EMUI 14.2. One of these is the Interactive category which consists of two options: Immersive Weather and Emoji.

As the name suggests, Immersive Weather is an engaging wallpaper that reflects the outer weather on your smartphone. This happens with the help of a gravity sensor.

The main function of this tiny detector is to determine the handset’s relative orientation. In EMUI 14.2, the gravity sensor-supported weather wall poster smartly detects the weather forecast as well as the viewing angle of your smartphone.

Doing so allows users to get a realistic live-weather look on their device’s screen. The immersive weather wallpaper showcases a variety of effects that adjust automatically, depending on the way you are holding your device, thanks to the gravity sensor.

Users who are running EMUI 14.2 on their devices can now apply this engaging wallpaper on their handsets. Other eligible device holders need to wait till the company officially rolls out the newest EMUI build.

How to access EMUI 14.2 Immersive Weather theme?

Huawei phone users need to go through certain steps to apply the new theme on their devices. Go to the Settings app. Now select the Home screen & style section. Click on the Themes tab and tap on the “Immersive Weather” in the Interactive section.

The system might ask you to download the Immersive Weather theme. Note that the package size of this theme may vary, depending on the Huawei models. Hence keep sufficient storage space in your phone, or else, the theme may not function accurately.

After installing, tap on the Personalize button to adjust the Weather. You can choose Live animation and set the duration (say 5 seconds) to see the live effect.

Once done, hit the Apply button to grab an immersive weather wallpaper experience on your handset.
