EMUI 13.0.0.269 software update released for Huawei Mate 50 Pro
Huawei Mate 50 Pro is fetching a new software update in January 2024 with the EMUI version 13.0.0.269. The company is rolling out the latest firmware with some useful improvements for the flagship model in the global market.
Last month, the tech giant served the December 2023 security update to the Mate 50 Pro models. Though users were expecting the January 2024 safety fixes, Huawei has kicked off a simple improvement patch for the respective devices.
Yes, the latest EMUI 13.0.0.269 update for Huawei Mate 50 Pro doesn’t count any new features or security patches. Yet, it aims to improve the communication segment of the smartphone and offers stability for relevant tasks.
Changelog:
- This update improves communication in certain situations
In recent times, the company has released improved communication updates for many devices including the Mate 20 and P30 series. Perhaps, Huawei will add more models in this rollout sequence in the coming days.
This rollout mainly triggers VoLTE and VoWiFi functions for 1&1 network operators. Eventually, when you pick 1&1 as your provider, it will enable the proficient use of VoLTE and VoWiFi in your device.
Note that Huawei releases new versions in a staged rollout. It means that it will take some time to push the new software to each eligible unit. But if you want to skip the waiting part, then you can follow the instructions below:
- Go to the Settings app
- Select System & Update
- Tap on Software Update
- Click on the Check For Update option
Now let the device hunt for the newest versions. Make sure to back up your phone’s data to add an extra layer of safety. Also, maintain at least 1.50GB of free space and 50% of the battery level to carry out the installation smoothly.
