EMUI 10: New system level ‘Dark Mode’

Dark Mode is a feature that is very useful while using the phone in low light or dark environment and it was available on the previous version of EMUI but with EMUI 10 this feature is completely renewed and adds a new layer of experience.

EMUI 10’s Dark Mode is one of the major implementations from Android Q and Huawei has made some of its own tweaks on this feature that can be directly seen on the colors, icons, and style of the whole system theme.

Other than the system UI, the Dark Mode now expanded to pre-installed applications including email, contacts, clock, photos, notepad. The company has also open Dark Mode API for app developer interested to add the support of this feature in their applications.

This is one of the key features of EMUI 10, and we’ll cover the whole set of addition when the EMUI 10 beta programs officially begin.
