Eligible Huawei devices for HarmonyOS 2 July 2021 security patch [List]
Huawei’s HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system making its way to flagships in the early stage and gradually reaching other important devices, yet still limited to the Chinese models.
Alongside major and features updates, regular installation of security patches is also a mandatory part of any device to stay away from threats and vulnerabilities. Otherwise, it can harm user’s data and systems as well.
On these concerns, HarmonyOS 2 promises to keep users’ privacy and data secured. Therefore, Huawei built a new security program and publishes monthly bulletins of fixed vulnerabilities found in the HarmonyOS 2 operating system for smartphone devices.
In the latest edition, Huawei has released July 2021 HarmonyOS 2.0 security patch that fixes 43 CVEs in the Kernel, 6 CVEs in the framework, 6 CVEs in the system, 5 CVEs in apps, and 65 CVEs third-party libraries for improved system security.
Besides, Huawei has also published a monthly and quarterly HarmonyOS 2 powered devices list that is eligible to receive the July 2021 security update. Interested users can check the list of devices mentioned below.

For your information, the HarmonyOS 2 is currently limited to Chinese devices and yet to plan for global users. However, more devices could be added to the monthly HarmonyOS 2 security bulletin.
