DXOMARK: Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G received 84 points for front camera
Unveiled last year, Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G established a new benchmark on DXOMARK camera ranking by achieving 123 points on the board. And the camera testing benchmark has now published results of Mate 30 Pro’s front-facing camera.
According to the DXOMARK, Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has scored 84 points for the selfie camera review, which seems not positive in terms of its rear camera and lands 17th place in the selfie camera list.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G Front Camera Specs:
- 32MP 1/2.8-inch sensor with 0.8µm pixels
- 26mm-equivalent, f/2.0-aperture fixed-focus lens
- ToF depth sensor
Here are some of the details provided by the DXOMARK, which reveals that Huawei Mate 30 5G front camera has accurate exposure and noise is low in good light, but the camera often drops the ball with skin tones, crucially important for good selfies, and color instills is generally a bit unsaturated.
The bokeh mode is capable, but the camera’s shallow depth of field introduces blur in more distant subjects, including faces in group shots.
“The phone does better with front camera video, capturing a wide dynamic range and managing pleasant colors, but it’s still not quite up there with the very best.” DXOMARK
