Drop test shows Huawei Mate 70 Pro+ broke the tile into pieces
Huawei Mate 70 Pro+ has proved itself tougher than its predecessors in a recent drop test. The device when dropped from a 2-meter height, smashed the tile. Despite a significant height, the phone remained in one piece without any scratches.
A Weibo tipster recently got his hands on the Huawei Mate 70 series. After dismantling the RS Ultimate variant, the blogger tested the Mate 70 Pro+ handset.
The tipster performed the drop test for the Huawei Mate 70 Pro+. It seems the device even surpassed the Apple iPhone in terms of wear resistance. It has the toughest middle frame that claims to provide all-round protection to the smartphone.
Inputs reveal the tipster freely dropped the Huawei Mate 70 Pro+ from a 2-meter height two times. To his surprise, the phone broke the tile into pieces while remained in one piece. The front (screen) and back cover of the phone weren’t damaged.
Even the middle frame of the device that touched the ground directly in this drop test has no dents or major damage, but a few scratch marks. It’s really “far ahead”.
Huawei Mate 70 Pro+ uses a new high-gloss titanium basalt body that is extremely powerful. It is a combination of ultra-durable nylon material as well as second-generation Kunlun glass which has 20 times improved drop resistance properties.
On the other hand, the titanium structure and the nylon material offer 5x wear and impact resistance to the device. The tipster says that all of these materials are worth praising and the drop/scratch resistance of Mate 70 Pro+ is significantly ahead of other models present in the consumer market.
Huawei Mate 70 series seems truly powerful handset in the Mate lineup. It is not only good in performance but also in design and durability. The tech giant has offered some amazing camera features and AI tools that make the new Mate member more amazing!
