Download the EMUI 14 beta app from here

Huawei has announced the EMUI 14 beta program for global smartphone users and you can now download the BETA app and check whether the project is available on your device.

Although the wait has stretched for a long time but it’s finally here and it’s official.

Beta programs are designed to allow Huawei users to test the upcoming software features ahead of the public release. However, the slots for testing could be limited in numbers and it may be only available in certain markets.

This new EMUI version brings several new features including a redesigned animations system. It has fluid transitions and it also brings the live view for testers. There are new additions such as resizable large folders and more.

To download the EMUI 14 beta app, go to the download link here and click on “Download” to start downloading. Make sure to check the download status as it might fail in first time but it’s not obvious.

Once downloaded, locate the APK in the browser’s download section or the file manager. Follow the on-screen instructions and hit install.

The next step would be to provide the required in-device permissions and log in to your Huawei ID to associate with the Beta test. Afterward, you can find the Beta project and apply for an EMUI 14 beta slot.

Huawei will take some days to evaluate your Beta application and allow you to participate in the beta activity followed by an EMUI 14 beta update over the air (OTA).
