Despite Huawei recovery as 5G leader, the company has a lot to work on: CEO
Huawei is doing well enough in all the fields at the present moment. The company has launched some of the best technical solutions. Apart from the innovative devices and huge tech giant of the world, Huawei has also achieved the badge of the global 5G leader.
But the irony lies in the fact that despite the success, and the 5G leader achievement, Huawei CEO – Yu Chengdong believes that the company has a lot to work on. That’s not it. The CEO has also mentioned the loopholes that create losses for the company.
In July this year, Yu Chengdong met with the media. On asking how he feels as the company finally accomplished the tag of the global 5G leader, the CEO gave a sarcastic reply with the following statement:
“Huawei as a global leader in 5G, is the only manufacturer selling 4G mobile phones in the 5G era.”
Though the statement was a snarky pinch over the company. Yet, it gave a sign of what the CEO wanted to deliver to the ears of the firm. He was trying to convey the message that this is just the beginning and there is a lot to cover in the upcoming days.
Major Aspects to Work on!
Yu has reported that Huawei smartphones have seen a huge decline in recent times. Besides, the company chips are far from production, and such reasons have made a huge negative impact on the offline retention scenario.
However, let’s not forget that the company has made some positive deeds as well. And becoming the global 5G leader is one of the top-listed rewards for the Chinese tech maker. On the other hand, it is constantly making efforts for the 5.5G solution that can ultimately bring evolution from 5G to 6G.
Speaking of the 5G core network for which Huawei has been awarded the 5G leader, it relies upon four key factors. These are – architecture flexibility, network rigor, solution maturity, and network automation. Thus, binding the answers to all the technical questions in one band.
Though at this moment, the work might be slow, Huawei knows how to tackle the obstacles and form a good path to walk on.
