These images became a hot topic of discussion among netizens on the social media platform. Many users asked if Huawei is missing its subsidiary at some point.

“Yu Chengdong still can’t let go of Honor? Can’t forget the brotherhood.”

Thus, it shouldn’t be a surprise to see Yu Chengdong at the Honor phone store. After all, there was a time when Honor belonged to Huawei and used to run on its Kirin chip, follow the software update system, and provide similar after-sales services.

Although to protect the subsidiary from the U.S. restrictions, Huawei sold it out. Thereafter, Honor became an independent firm and explored new ways to build its products. Things changed with the new Magic foldable, the Magic 5 and 6 series, and MagicOS.
