Can Huawei’s Tri-Fold take the spotlight from iPhone 16 series?

Apple iPhone 16 series will officially hit the consumer world on September 9. The lineup is said to be a better version of its predecessors and will grab consumers’ attention. But what if Huawei’s tri-fold steal the spotlight from the iPhone 16 models?

Huawei and Apple are ready to amaze consumers with their premium-level products. The U.S. tech giant will offer the next-gen smartphones with new useful features.

The Chinese OEM, on the other hand, is bringing the first-ever triple-fold creation for consumers. And it looks like Huawei’s special tri-fold handset will snatch all the spotlight and attention from the iPhone 16 series. Why so? Here are the reasons:

Huawei will be the first manufacturer to introduce a triple-folding phone in the market. No doubt, everyone is excited to see what the innovative device brings. Parameters like a Kirin chip, satellite features, and new camera tools are already on the list.

Secondly, the U.S.-China war has cut the success path for many foreign tech makers and Apple is one of them. To reduce dependency on American products, many Chinese firms and customers prohibited iPhone use which ultimately pushed down Apple.

In recent reports, Apple continued to decline in the Chinese phone market regardless of major discounts and promotional events. Following the heavy competition from Chinese vendors, the company is struggling to stand firm in one of its major markets.

Huawei tri-fold, on the other hand, is said to bring advanced AI capabilities to uplift the bar of user experience.

Ivan Lam – the senior analyst at Counterpoint Research firm says:

“iPhone will continue to see erosion [of its market share] in the premium segment by Huawei and other Chinese brands.”

With these conditions, there is a possibility that Huawei’tri-fold could take the spotlight from the iPhone 16 series. Although that’s just a way of thinking.
