Camera, system and audio improvements released for Huawei Mate X2 with new update

Huawei Mate X2 is one of the newly launched smartphones of this year. Also, this is the company’s next-generation folding phone over its antecedent Mate X and Mate Xs.

For further improvements, Huawei has started pushing a new firmware version for Mate X2. This update brings the improvements for camera effects, audio and fixes the known problems of the system to enhance the user experience.

To be mentioned, this is the third software update, which is rolled out by the company this month. The last two updates brought a similar type of optimization and improvements for display, camera, and system.

Before you upgrade:

1. We recommend you take a backup of your important data
2. Use a stable connection to download the update package.
3. Do not forcefully turn off the phone, once the installation is started.

What’s new in this update:

Updated EMUI version: 

Huawei Mate X2 users collecting EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.155SP1 upgraded from 11.0.0.150.

Changelog:

• Camera: Optimizes part of the scene camera effects
• Audio: Optimizes the audio loudspeaker to enhance the sound experience
• System: Fix the problem horizontal screenplay part of the scene under abnormal optimize overall system stability

HarmonyOS:

At the Huawei Mate X2 launch event, Huawei stated that the first batch of devices, which will install the latest operating system, HarmonyOS includes Mate X2 and more models.

Moreover, Huawei is set to debut HarmonyOS AKA Hongmeng OS in April for mobile devices and the company at the same will also reveal its strategy for HarmonyOS and its launch in different new as well as old devices.

There are two ways that you can download this latest software update, both of these areas the following:

VIA SETTINGS:

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap on System & updates
3. Tap Software update
4. Tap Check for Updates
5. Download and Install
6. Install

After the installation and restart, we recommend you let the system optimize the new application so your device can run smoothly on further commands.
