Camera optimization, Petal Search, Knuckle gestures rolling out with first update for Honor 9S
Last month, Honor unveiled its latest smartphone, Honor 9S in India. It comes with a 5.45-inch display, MediaTek Helio P22 processor, 3020mAh battery, and an affordable price that no one can ignore.
From the software side, the Honor 9S comes pre-installed with Magic UI 3.1 and now this phone is receiving its first software update, adding knuckle gestures, allowing you to use a knuckle to take screenshots and split the screen or use two knuckles to record the screen and more.

System: Adds Petal Search to the widgets on the home screen for easier app searches.
Camera: Optimizes Camera performance in certain scenarios.
Knuckle Gestures: Adds support for knuckle gestures, allowing you to use a knuckle to take screenshots and split the screen, or use two knuckles to record the screen.
Security: Integrates Android security patches released in August 2020 for improved system security.
VERSION:
The first software update for Honor 9S comes with Magic UI 3.1 version 3.1.0.132 upgrading from Magic UI 3.1.0.118. Honor 9S users will have to download a 539MB update package size.
