Camera, audio and display improvements rolling out for Huawei Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro
Last December, Huawei launched two new mid-range smartphones, Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro. Both the models offer a large display with FHD+ resolution, powered by Kirin 985 7nm processor, EMUI 11, a good battery, and more.
It was observed that Huawei is good at taking care of its devices by delivering regular software and feature updates. These updates improve device security, add new features, optimizes performance, and more.
Huawei Nova 8 and 8 Pro users grabbing back-to-back updates for further improvements. Now, the company has started sending a new EMUI software update. This latest version brings optimizations for audio effect, camera, display interface, and system stability to run your device more stable.
Last week, Huawei pushed the display interface and system stability improvement update with the new EMUI 11 version for Nova 8 series smartphones. It provides new users experience and boosts the overall system performance.

Latest Version details:
- Huawei Nova 8 users receiving EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.135 upgraded from 11.0.0.130.
- Huawei Nova 8 Pro users receiving EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.130 upgraded from 11.0.0.128.
Changelog:
For Nova 8:
- Audio: Optimizes the audio playback effect and improve the sound experience
- Screen: Optimizes the screen display effect
- System: Optimizes the system stability
For Nova 8 Pro:
- Camera: Optimizes the shooting part of the camera
- System: Optimizes the system stability

- The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
- EMUI version and size may vary depending on the country/region/models.
- We recommend you back up any important data before updating, safety measures.
HOW TO CHECK FOR EMUI 11 UPDATE:
To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop-up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.
You can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
