Huawei is making new optimizations to the Mate X, and its launching is again pushed for later this year. In the midst of this launch delay, there’s some new information came in the light revealing that the new optimizations also includes new specs changes.

Huawei Mate X TENAA images confirm new changes, could launch early in China

Huawei Mate X will now come with a new flagship Kirin processor (Kirin 990 expected) instead of Kirin 980 and there are changes made in the camera section to come with RYYB sensor replacing RGB, reported Neowin.

These upgrades including the new processor and the new camera sensor make sense because the phone has been delayed for a long time now. And when its launch date comes, the Mate X will be officially surpassed by Mate 30 series equipped with new Kirin processor and more camera specs.

Additionally, we could expect that the phone may also come with new software version EMUI 10 in place of EMUI 9.1 but yet to confirmed.

According to the previous information, the new series of optimizations also counts the change made in ‘fold release button’ on the back of the device with more flat design, wide surface and includes an indication mark.

Moreover, due to the new optimizations being made on Huawei Mate X, the new launch is expected to be in November.
