Breaking: HarmonyOS smartphone could launch in early 2021

At Huawei Developer Conference 2020 (HDC 2020), Richard Yu, Huawei Consumer Business CEO, announced HarmonyOS 2.0 and details about its SDK availability as well as the first smartphone with this operating system.

According to Richard, HarmonyOS 2.0 SDK will be available from September 10, 2020, for Smart TVs, Smartwatches, and head units. Followed by Smartphones SDK in December 2020.

Moreover, the consumer chief also revealed that the first phone with HarmonyOS will be launched by early 2021.
