Bone Voiceprint Recognition update rolling out for Huawei FreeBuds 3

Huawei is testing some new features for Huawei FreeBuds 3 wireless earbuds in China to improve its user experience.

Now, Huawei FreeBuds 3 receiving a new feature called – Bone VoicePrint, derived from FreeBuds 2. The update also brings Bluetooth dual-channel synchronous transmission and optimizations for charging as well as Bluetooth connectivity.

Last month, the dual-channel synchronous transmission feature already rolled out for beta testers and this new update seems to be for general users.

This new update for Huawei FreeBuds 3 comes with software version 1.0.0.520 upgrade from version 1.0.0.510 and size of 2.01MB.

Note: The update is currently rolling in China and may expand to global users soon.

Bone VoicePrint:

The Bone voiceprint generation biometric technology cooperates with AI recognition to complete the identity verification in one sentence.

In work, the bone voiceprint feature combines voice recognition and “bone sound pattern” recognition to provide biometric recognition because every individual has a different bone sound pattern.

Dual Channel Synchronous:

Huawei’s isochronous dual-channel Bluetooth brings true stereo sound to wireless earbuds, connecting to both buds simultaneously, yet independently.

Huawei’s self-developed dual-channel synchronized technology allows two headsets to receive the left and right audio channels directly from a smart device while facilitating direct communication between the device and the two headsets without interference.

The self-developed dual-channel synchronous transmission mode uses leads to latency remains ultra-low down to 190ms, making FreeBuds 3 the perfect wireless earbud for gamers who want instant acoustic feedback for an immersive gaming experience.
