Bluetooth optimizations rolling out for Huawei Mate 40 series in China
Earlier this month, Huawei sent a software update for the Mate 40 series in China that runs HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system. The update installed November 2021 security patch to keep this flagship lineup secure against the latest threats.
Adding to this, the company has begun to seed a new software update for the consumers of the Huawei Mate 40 series that brings another major improvement in terms of Bluetooth connectivity. The latest software update for the Huawei Mate 40 lineup comes with HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.212 patch02.
The update consists of two update packages, the first one has November 2021 security patch while the second one includes optimizations the compatibility with some Bluetooth headsets for Huawei mate 40, and it is recommended that you update.

You can download the latest software update by visiting – Settings, then tap on Software & updates, tap Software updates, and followed by CHECK FOR UPDATES. If any update is available, the screen will pop out the software and lead you towards the download page.
Mate 40 Pro Global:
On the other hand, Huawei Mate 40 Pro global users are eligible to test the latest EMUI 12 beta under the beta program. Since Huawei is not rolling out HarmonyOS for global consumers, it’s a good move to give something major for the overseas Huawei smartphone owners.
According to the information, Huawei Mate 40 Pro users will be able to download the EMUI 12 beta OTA once the rollout starts.
