‘Biased’ Huawei reacts on a report of 5G market share in Europe

Huawei reacted to the report that was recently published on the 5G RAN market share in Europe and called it biased. The report includes Huawei’s market share in Germany and in Europe. Below you can check the complete reaction statement.

“Huawei has taken note of the report “The Market for 5G RAN in Europe: Share of Chinese and Non-Chinese Vendors in 31 European Countries” published by the firm Strand Consult but does not wish to comment on a document that disseminates inaccurate information and seems to suffer from an obvious bias against Chinese companies.

However, we would like to clarify several points. First of all, Huawei respects the laws of the countries and regions where the company operates. In addition, Huawei’s secure and innovative network technologies have supported Europe’s competitiveness and energy transition for more than 20 years, with no security incidents.

As a global provider of technology solutions, our priority has always been to establish a transparent dialogue with the competent authorities, both at the local and European levels, and we will continue to do so.
