Lock screen tips: Always-on, wallpapers
Get an Always-On display: this phone has an OLED display on it so it offers always on display even when you are not using it. By default it is turned off but you can turn it on you have to swipe down from the top of the home screen > hit the settings cog icon > select Home Screen & Wallpaper > Always on Display.
Change the lock screen wallpaper/ screensaver/cover: if you don’t like the wallpaper you have right now you can change it by swiping down from your home screen, then tap on the setting button and then opt for select Home Screen & Wallpaper and then Magazine Unlock. Here you will see a lot of beautiful wallpapers and you can also set wallpapers from your home screen.
Charging-only screen saver: and if you only want to change screen saver instead of your wallpaper you can do this from Home screen > hit the settings cog icon > select Display > More display settings > Screensaver.
Quick-launch shortcuts: like iOS, you can also quickly launch some apps from home screen. The five apps you can quick launch from your home screen are Quick-access Recorder, Flashlight, Calculator, Stopwatch, QR code scanner.

Security tips:
PIN/Pattern/Fingerprint/Face Unlock: Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a fingerprint sensor under its screen, sounds cool. And you can also register multiple fingerprints here. To register your fingerprint here swipe down from the top of the home screen > hit the settings cog icon > Security & privacy > Fingerprint ID. and here follow the prompts and set your fingerprints.
Lock apps with fingerprint ID: Not just to lock your phone but you can also use the fingerprint sensor to lock your individual apps. To do so swipe down from the top of the home screen > hit the settings cog icon > Security & privacy > App lock. And here choose the app you want to lock.

And here you can set up notifications for specific apps.

Here you can adjust sections like metering, ISO, shutter speed, exposure compensation, focus type, and white balance control.
Capture raw files: Capturing raw files and edit them later is gives an eye-catching image. To capture in raw format Simply hit the settings cog within the Camera app, select Resolution, then toggle RAW Format on.
Select resolution: you can also opt for your required resolution, it offers you a resolution of 40MP 4:3, 10MP 4:3, 7MP 1:1 and 6MP 18.8:9 resolutions and aspect ratios. To choose between them head to camera setting and opt for resolution. Here you can choose for your preferred resolution.
